Fireworks

The fireworks have been a constant presence throughout the history of Compagnia dei Folli. Within our performances, we have used them as ephemeral scenery. Every flash and every burst is designed to fill the moment with wonder and enchantment, adding a fleeting yet unforgettable emotion to our shows.

But our thirty years of experience in the field of fireworks set to music has allowed us to go beyond their simple use as scenic elements. We have developed deep knowledge and mastery of this art, transforming it into a performance in its own right, which we present in historic locations of particular value. In these performances, light, brilliance, musical notes and architecture blend harmoniously. The façades of ancient churches, imposing castles and historic palaces become canvases on which we paint with the light of fireworks, synchronised to evocative musical scores.

This combination gives life to a unique show, a multisensory experience recalling the opulence and magic of what were once known as “Baroque fireworks”. It is an immersion in an art that celebrates beauty and transience, where fire is not merely an effect, but a language that tells stories and conveys emotions, illuminating the night and the hearts of the audience.
