Desidera

Desidera is a poetic aerial performance by Compagnia dei Folli., combining breathtaking sway-pole acrobatics and dance in the sky, to tell of the fragility, strength and deep human desire to fly even in the most uncertain moments.

The performance comes to life with the ascent of a large luminous white sphere, like a moon suspended in the sky. Beneath it, an acrobat floats through the air, dancing with grace and lightness in a breathtaking aerial choreography. The poetry of movement blends with visual power, offering the audience an emotional and dreamlike experience.

Making the performance even more evocative is the scenic use of sway poles, more than five metres high, on which two performers execute spectacular aerial movements. Their swaying motions, suspended between sky and earth, become a metaphor for human emotions, the need for balance and the tension between freedom and connection.

Desidera is an ode to dreams, a journey that crosses the boundaries of reality to immerse the audience in a world where physical strength meets the lightness of air. It is ideal for squares, festivals, evening outdoor events and cultural occasions seeking to amaze and enchant audiences with powerful imagery and poetry in motion.

A poetic and aerial performance that moves, inspires and invites us to look upwards, where the impossible seems to become possible.
